Exposing the Redundantly Consistent Patterns of Satan’s Presence, Tactics, Power, and Goals Throughout History
Satan fears exposure, but the patterns of his presence and activity are not only exposed for us in Scripture, but such patterns of his behavior are redundant throughout history, even to the allowing of the possibility of undertaking a “forensic approach” to history for examination. His capacity to deceive as an Angel of Light is crucial to his ongoing acts of empowered influence and …terror. He fears being “tracked” for the Predator he really proves to be. He fears because his Temptations were exposed and rejected by Christ, his kingdom in process of being shattered and defeated… his defeated destiny assured. The Scriptures present Satan as real, a person (angel), malevolent toward man and God (the Triune God), exceedingly skillful, second to God alone in brilliance and power…the grand deceiver of all history… and a murderer of men and women throughout the world.
He has successfully “covered his tracks” from an unbelieving world as he raises up idolatries, envy, poverty, war, statism… utilizing the same patterns of approach with mankind, over and over. He has been successful in promoting a calculated evil because mankind cannot discern “spiritual things.” All ungodly statist approaches, for example, utilized by his presence and power, share a variety of elements. However, one in particular, is always present: any authority that regulates the Calling of individuals is demonic in character. In other words, Satan is interested in destroying a man or woman’s Calling, i.e., the task given by God, uniquely to each individual, accounting for the reason each of us was conceived.
Satan has invariably sought to destroy the calling of each of us… His attack upon resources is designed to destroy the stewardship provided to empower Calling.
Thus, in Ephesians 6, Paul tells us the authorities of the world under Satan’s control (cf. Luke 4:5) are blinded by the “god of this world” in opposition to Christ – their Rightful King (cf. Psalm 2: 10-12) – and to His Body, the Church (cf. Ephesians 4). As such, they murdered Christ and ever persecute His Body (cf. I Thessalonians 2).
They are blinded by their fallen nature. Too, historians, for example, cannot write about what they cannot see in history…the spiritual darkness shrouds their thinking and, as a result, they cannot see the spiritual truth of Satan’s presence, malevolence, empowerment and patterned consistency. That leaves a BIG piece of history unexplained…and, without Scripture, unexplainable.
To all mankind, the problem of evil, manifested in corruption, perversity, and warfare, indeed the manifestations of the spirit world, becomes an exercise all too often in “making good appear evil… and evil, good.” This, because they cannot see the work of Satan as his work. They misapprehend what they mistakenly call “truth,” for example, such as “calling upon dead loved ones,” worshipping the host of heavens, and fixating on aliens as if they were Wise Counselors from other worlds. These, and many other deceits, consume whole building blocks of man’s thinking and history. Such thinking then deceives and skews the culture carriers: history, education, judiciary, arts, media, religion, family life, the sciences, economics and commerce…as well as morality, values, and heritage.
There is a solution: Satan’s patterns of behavior are identifiable and subject to the exposure and remedy which he fears. Most especially, the subject herein leads directly to overcoming evil, calling upon his Grand Enemy, Jesus Christ. Such exposure will allow Christians to understand better how he undermines at all levels – from individuals to whole nations – in order to defeat him. This manual exposes him and explains HOW he can be defeated.
